About This Journal
The Journal of English and Applied Linguistics (JEAL) is a semiannual open-access journal that publishes high-quality research addressing debates and current issues in applied linguistics.
JEAL is managed by the De La Salle University Publishing House (DLSUPH) and hosted on De La Salle University's Animo Repository, its institutional scholarly database hosted by Elsevier's Digital Commons network.
Editorial Policy
Peer Review
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by two anonymous reviewers. JEAL does not accept commercial promotions, sponsored content, or third-party advertisements. Editorial decisions are strictly independent of commercial or institutional revenue.

Publication Cycle
Issues are published every June and December each year. Turnaround time is approximately 6-7 months (~200 days). This encompasses the submission period to final publication, including desk review and peer review stages.
