Abstract/Summary

A competent and engaged government workforce is essential for high-quality public service delivery. However, declining work engagement among government employees raises concerns about service effectiveness. This study investigates the relationship between workplace safety climate, work engagement, and public service quality. A quantitative approach will be employed, utilizing surveys distributed to 230 Philippine Economic Zone Authority employees. The research aims to identify potential correlations between these variables and explore whether work engagement mediates the relationship between workplace safety climate and public service quality. Additionally, the study will examine if demographic or job-related factors moderate these relationships. By examining these associations, the research can inform strategies to enhance public service delivery through fostering a safe and engaging work environment.
