Abstract (English)
The media has continuously created a gap between our perception of success and the internal recognition we owe to ourselves. Re:Verse is a narrative-centric music video that follows the story of Ara, a young adult who witnesses the gripping truth behind the cost of being passionate and ambitious at an early age, where all roads lead to a clear understanding of social media's capacity to influence the meaning behind accomplishment. Ria, embodying the complexity of motherhood and generational understanding, grounds Ara's capacity to rekindle the fire of her past. Leading up to conquering the crisis in her self-identity, the influx of media platforms gives those who control the narrative an invisible upper hand, both online and offline.
The fictionalized narrative depicts how burnout and mental health issues in the present generation stem from existing social media norms that prioritize validation. Generally, relationships and dynamics are dependent on the quantity behind one's success, such as the number of headlines, views, likes, and comments on one's performance. However, the goal of authenticity for self-fulfillment is at odds with the necessity of recognizing one's own progress. The characters reflect the intricacy of nostalgia as a means of healing and an opportunity for different periods of one's life to serve their own purpose in shaping values and identity. In this way, the proponents drew inspiration from real-life experiences gained through individual interviews with people who had overcome the struggles of navigating a time of self-doubt and discovery as young adults.
In terms of structure, the narrative-centric music video is guided by an original song composition, accompanied by setting visuals that transition into a dreamlike sequence through the projections of her memories, while also enhancing this effect with digital visual effects. All in all, these are significant for strengthening the message of how preserving one's past can fuel the betterment of the potential that your future self will look back on.

Sa pagtatamasa ng tagumpay at pansariling kaunlaran, ang midya ang nagiging puno’t dulo ng iba’t ibang paniniwala. Inihahandog ng Re:Verse, isang narrative-centric music video na nagsasalaysay ng buhay ni Ara, isang dalaga na unti-unti namumulat sa katotohanan ng pagpapahalaga ng kasipagan at ambisyon sa murang edad. Bagkus, ito ang nagbigay daan sa pagpapakita ng kapasidad at impluwensiya ng midya patungkol sa mga katuparan ng pagsusumikap. Sa kabilang dako, si Ria ang sumasalamin sa realidad ng hirap at ginhawa ng pagiging ina, samakatuwid, ang pagkakaroon ng patas na pakikitungo sa henerasyon ng magulang sa kanilang mga anak ang nagsilbing kadahilanan para kay Ara manumbalik sa kanyang nakaraan. Bagaman, nangingibabaw ang suliranin sa pagkakakilanlan ng sarili dahil sa pag-usbong ng midya sa iba’t ibang porma, kung saan ang pinipiling katotohanan ay nasa kamay ng kahit sinoman.

Karaniwan, ang mga nabubuong ugnayan sa ibang indibidwal ay sanhi ng pakikilahok sa pagbabago-bago na saloobing nakasasanayan sa mga social media platform. Kung kaya’t ang krisis ng mga karakter sa salaysay na ito ang magpapatibay sa madamdaming pagtatanaw sa nakaraan, sa pamamaraan nito, nabubuksan ang puso at isip nila maituwid ang kanilang kinabukasan nang may paninindigan sa kanya-kanyang hangarin.
Upang lubusan mapatatag ang music video, ang pagsusulat ng orihinal na komposisyon at pag-stratehiya ng malikhaing at makabagong paglikha ng set design ay naging layunin ng pangkat. Bilang pangwakas, ang bawat isang aspeto sa produksyon ay mayroong mahalagang layon sa pagpapatibay ng ideya na hindi lamang ito repleksyon ng totoong buhay, kundi, isang paalala sa pag-uunlad ng sangkatauhan alang-alang sa midya.
