Abstract/Summary
Filipino soap operas, or teleseryes, have been around for decades, entertaining the Filipino people. For years, these shows have been criticized for being repetitive, of poor quality, and for having no substance. However, there’s more to these teleseryes than the snippets that end up viral on social media. These teleseryes are one of the reasons why Filipinos still watch television. Viewers find certain experiences relatable, and that some scenes are a more refined version of a typical Filipino’s daily lives. This project is the proponents’ own take on teleseryes. This final report contains the project's concept, its characters, and methodology on how the pilot episode was produced.
