Abstract/Summary

The study described the conformity of Filipino adolescent males to masculine norms as predictors of risky sexual behavior. Participants of the study comprised of Filipino adolescent males from different high schools and colleges in Metro Manila with a predominantly Roman Catholic religion and with an average socio economic status. Two surveys and a demographic profile inventory were employed as the data gathering technique. Convenient sampling through chain sampling was employed. Data was gathered from the surveys, which was analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson r respectively. Findings of the study may help adolescents in understanding and classifying their sexual behavior.
