Abstract/Summary

Our client organization was the Lila-Pilipina. Lila-Pilipina is an NGO that primarily composed of Filipino Comfort Women and they advocate justice for the victims of war. The organization conducts several activities in achieving their objectives. One of the activities they conduct is the fora that they usually do in different colleges and universities. The target audience for this activity is the college and university students. The goal of these fora is to increase the awareness of the students regarding the comfort woman issue in the Philippines. One of the parts of the fora is the testimonials part where the comfort women speak about their experiences and their struggle. The problem of the organization is that these fora are having problems regarding this part, the comfort women oftentimes could not participate in these activities anymore because of health complications. So our thesis was about giving a solution to this problem of the organization. We wanted them to sustain the fora they have been doing for a time and most frequently compared to other activities. To give a solution to this problem, we are going to make an awareness video about the life and struggle of the Filipino comfort woman. We chose video because we think a video is more effective in sustaining the fora and deliver the message more effectively given the time of the fora.
