Abstract/Summary

The project is a public relations campaign plan and prototype that was designed for the Philippine Society of Prevention Against Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA) to help them communicate effectively toward their publics. Part of the project is a communication plan that determined the strategy that PSPCA could use to achieve its campaign goals. The communication plan entailed choosing the theme, determining the message to be communicated and selecting the appropriate medium to reach their target audience. Also, a functional strategy for the communication plan was developed as part of the plan for the implementation of the campaign. A prototype of a public relations campaign that aims to generate awareness of the existing cruelties in the Filipino community was created for PSPCA. The pilot community of the project is Barangay Comembo of Makati. This prototype may be used by PSPCA as a model for its succeeding projects. In addition to this, campaign materials were produced as part of the project.
