Abstract/Summary
Jenny is a 17-year-old Chinese-Filipino mestiza who grew up in the Philippines and has been raised as a Chinese. She has always considered herself as a Filipino with Chinese descent. During her visit to China, she is only seen as a Filipino. On the other hand, she is only seen as a Chinese in the Philippines. The prejudices she received in China and the Philippines creates her confusion of whether she is a Filipino or a Chinese. The screenplay shows how she proves to people around her and to herself that she is also a Filipino.
