Abstract/Summary
The restaurant industry has been experiencing rapid growth after the recent Asian currency crisis. Even through many establishments had shut down, it also evident that many new players came in. Competition in the restaurant and bar industry of the Philippines has become fiercer. Travessia, a survivor in the industry, aims to be the pioneering leader in a personalized bar set-up & felt the need to realize how they can have an edge over their competitors.
Being a service oriented firm the management is currently formulating effective strategies and programs to answer the needs and wants of their clientele. This papers aim to aid the management on how they can improve & develop their services. The group recommended highly effective activities to continuously expand Travessias total target market through service & promotional programs. Since the firm is also suffering from a financial loss due to several external & internal factors, this plan will also enable them to increase sales, not only to cover the exceeding cost but moreover, to generate profit & eventually fulfill its mission in the future.
