Abstract/Summary
This paper is about weight distribution of a code and zeta polynomials. Some computations and examples were provided to illustrate the zeta polynomial and the weight enumerator of some binary linear codes. Moreover, a program was used to show the zeta polynomial and weight enumerator of some Hamming codes, Reed-Muller Codes, Golay Codes and Extended Golay Codes. A theorem was used to further discuss and relate weight enumerators of a binary code and its dual code. Fundamental terms and concepts on codes and linear algebra were included to make it easy for the readers to understand coding theory.
