Abstract/Summary
The Home Automation using Telephone (HAT) is a low cost home automation system that makes use of a personal computer compatible to control the whole system. It allows users to remotely control electrical appliances at home using the telephone. It automatically answers the phone after a specified number of rings and lets the user punch in the proper codes to control specific connected to the system.
