Abstract/Summary
Executive Summary. The Real Estate Division of the Municipality of San Fernando, Pampanga is in charge of the annual collection of real estate taxes. The processes involved in the performance of this task are: computation of taxes, posting of payments, issuance of Tax Clearance, Official Receipts, Statement of Real Property Tax Delinquencies and Notice of Delinquencies, and the preparation of reports. Problems and difficulties during the accomplishment of these processes are inevitable because of the manual system employed, at present, by the Real Estate Division. In order to provide help for the Real Estate Division, a thesis project, which aims to complete a taxation system, was proposed. The San Fernando Real Estate Division in the performance of their processes by automating their system. In addition, SFRTS also allows immediate access to information through queries and system generated reports. The proponents used the waterfall model for completing their project. In the implementation phase of the project, the system was tested and evaluated to ensure that the requirements of its users were met.
