Abstract/Summary

The study focused on three main points the reasons for conversion, the converts quality of life satisfaction, and the perceived effects conversion has on life satisfaction. The research group garnered data by interviewing twelve respondents, who were selected through non-probability, specifically purposive sampling. After the team analysis of the respondents answer to the strategically constructed questionnaire, themes were divulged to classify these answer into different categories to further asses the topic. The researchers discovered that the respondents all arrive at a point of disengagement from religion. However each respondent also posed that they do not have one solve reason for conversion, but more than one intertwine to conceive a final decision. Among the different themes for life Satisfaction, there was no single theme that truly stood out, expressing many unique insights and common insights in the quality of a converts life satisfaction. The effects of conversion on life satisfaction the respondents perceived religious meaning in ones life proved to be the most common notion.
