Abstract/Summary
The Smart Card Access Printing (SCAP) System introduces an efficient way of regulating print jobs for Windows-based applications. This is made possible through the application of smart card technology.
The SCAP System makes use of a specially developed program to enable the default printer to go online. Correspondingly, the system monitors the printing activities by logging and updating transactions in a log file. With this concept in mind, the Smart Card Access Printing System benefits both its user and administrator in terms of time, money, and effort.
