Abstract/Executive Summary
Lillume was established on May 22, 2025 at De La Salle University – Laguna Campus as a student-led venture offering sustainable lamps to promote sustainable lighting solutions. The business built its brand identity through TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. The Evening Bloom Collection achieved a sell-out launch during the ABM Product Launch Bazaar in February 2026. Lillume operates in the sustainable lighting industry and is expanding from school bazaars to nationwide online selling. The lamps are handcrafted using pipe cleaners and energy-efficient LED fairy lights, inspired by the Lily of the Valley and Lotus flower. With its uniqueness shining through its proprietary assembling techniques and trademarked brand identity combined with sustainability, functionality, and nature-inspired aesthetics. The business operates as a sole proprietorship, due to the ease of formation and centralized decision-making of the business. Managed by five student entrepreneurs consisting of the owner and finance officer, operations, marketing, and human resources officers, Lillume sources the products from a partner manufacturer, My Adi, and primarily targets Gen Z and millennials who value sustainable and personalized décor. Lillume uses digital marketing, financial auditing, and supply chain management to regulate the business, with academic mentors as key support groups. Mass produced lamp brands from Shopee, Lazada, and Temu, often lacking in eco transparency, labor transparency, and artisanal quality are the competitors. Lillume was initially funded through a ₱25,000 capital investment from equal owner contributions of ₱5,000 each. Lillume aims to achieve long-term financial sustainability through digital marketing, proper budgeting, and continuous product innovation.
