Abstract/Executive Summary
Conceptualized in June of 2025, Fidjoo was founded by five De La Salle University - Manila Senior High School (DLSU-M SHS) Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students as a social enterprise for its business simulation track. It is positioned as a therapeutic, sensory-based brand that aims to provide relief interventions among students through on-the-go fidget toys, specifically clickers made from polylactic acid (PLA) and handmade crochet stress ball keychains. It utilizes animal-inspired motifs and varying color schemes to differentiate itself in the Philippine toy industry. As the company expands, it aims to uphold its mission by diversifying its products with a slider toy and a frog stress ball. Fidjoo focuses on sales through bazaars in DLSU and online orders. Throughout its operations, the business meets its social obligations and supports local suppliers, being the first to collaborate with a student enterprise from the DLSU Laguna Campus. As a sole proprietorship with five executives, the management team is structured by specialization: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Creative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. With an initial capital requirement of Php 19,500, equally contributed by all team members, the enterprise aims to scale its impact through future social activities and market expansion. In the first three months of operations, Fidjoo has earned Php 44,582.73 to cover all operating expenses, including production and marketing for the first two months. In relation to its competitors, Fidjoo maintains an advantageous position through continuous innovation, competitive pricing, and sustainable production.
