DLSU Arts Congress

The 20th DLSU Arts Congress (DAC) invites artists, creatives, scholars, educators, and communities to an interdisciplinary conference that examines how creativity and learning continue to adapt and transform in response to the challenges and possibilities of our current AI-influenced world. Led by The Academy, in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI), College of Computer Studies (CCS), College of Science (COS), College of Liberal Arts (CLA), Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC College of Education (BAGCED), Culture and Arts Office (CAO), The Libraries, and The Museum, this year’s conference calls for papers that probe how advances in science and technology, and the growing presence of AI in cultural life, are reshaping the conditions for creativity, pedagogy, and collective transformation across the Arts, Humanities, Business and Economics, and Science and Technology. How have artistic practice and pedagogy responded to new technical and social realities? How can science and technology better engage with the Arts and Humanities? How can AI enhance artistic engagement while foregrounding ethics, equity, cultural diversity, and ecological responsibility? How have our ethical frameworks and governance systems evolved to maintain accountability in the use of AI?
