Abstract
Due to fast pace in modernization, engineers have come up with new ideas in developing new elements of mechatronics such as in sensors, actuators and real time control systems. Mechatronics has a lot of subtopics. The significant keys of understanding Mechatronics are pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, hydraulics and electrohydraulics control system and PLC. Apparently, mechatronics is a course not popular in the Philippines, but the application of mechatronics is usually seen in the streets. With the difference of use of mechatronics locally and internationally, the study will help students understand mechatronics as a widely used engineering science that runs the industrialized world today. Mechatronics utilities and training materials are becoming too expensive and they are available from other countries such as Germany and Japan. These devices, if unfamiliar to the users, are susceptible to accidents. With this study, learners are given enough freedom to experiment beyond what is required without worrying about the damages it may cause. Circuit design and simulation will put students into a position that replicates active industry ergonomics that will minimize errors in installation of mechatronics devices.
