Abstract
Chemical investigation of the dichloromethane extract of Laurenciapapillosa(C.Ag) Greville led to the isolation of zeinoxanthin (1), β-carotene (2), chlorophyll a (3), cholesterol (4), monogalactosyl diacylglycerol (5), trilinolein (6), anda mixture of linolenic acid (7a), linoleic acid (7b). The structures of 1-7were identified by comparison of their NMR data with those reported in the literature.
