Description

Dr. Teresita Fortunato, Chair of the Filipino Department, placed 2nd in the Gawad Surian sa Sanaysay - Gantimpalang Collantes. Her essay was entitled Tungo sa Intelektwalisasyon ng Filipino sa Ekonomiks: Ilang Parametro. In the same contest in 1990, she bagged the second place and in 1991, her essay was adjudged first place.
