Description
The newest cadet officer of the NROTC Corps was Cadet Ensign Edilberto Romero. He was Chief Petty Officer of the Drill Company and the winner of the field assembly and disassembly of the Cal. 45 Thompson Sub-Machine Gun during the NROTC Field Day on January 15, 1956. He was the first cadet to receive a cadet officer's commission while yet in First Year Basic.
