Abstract (English)
This study attempts to engage in an appropriation of Karol Wojtyła’s philosophical anthropology in education. Through his personalism, the learner is rediscovered and affirmed in its human dignity amidst the depersonalizing effects and challenges of artificial intelligence. Educational policies and programs are oriented to the development of the total human person for an affirmation and deeper appreciation of the latter, especially in the context and condition of education in today’s world of technology and innovation. In light of these perspectives, this study shall harness Wojtyła’s personalist philosophy of education championed by principles relevant to the human person—subjectivity, community, and human dignity–to structure justifications for a humane coexistence of human persons and technology, learners and artificial intelligence.
