Abstract/Summary
This paper discusses the introduction of talent management framework as a long-term solution to address the high employee turnover of an e-Commerce organization.
Lazada Philippines, an e-Commerce organization, has been encountering high employee turnover losing its employees to the competitive talent market. In the pursuit to create of a long-term solution that would help address the employee turnover, this action research follows the investigation of the existing employee exit process to derive insights to understand the root-cause of the turnover. This turnover study arrived at a conclusion that highlighted the absence of an objective talent management framework in the company.
This paper, through the two action research cycles, studied the impact & relationship of talent management to employee turnover supported by various theoretical concepts to help resolve the challenge of high employee turnover. The consolidation of turnover information and the introduction of talent management framework and tools were accomplished by this paper.
