Abstract/Summary

This action research did a causal analysis of various issues that leads to bad condominium leasing experiences of unit owners and tenants and set up a standard leasing process with guidelines and relevant templates inclusive of preventive measures out of the best market practices we have seen through two cycles of action research. It focused on what real estate brokers/agents can do throughout the leasing process to make the process less hassle for unit owners and tenants.

The two cycles of action research improved the Company’s service quality and promoted knowledge transfer among the leasing team. In a broader context, this action research could be a reference to unit owners and tenants in leasing arrangements or plan to enter into leasing arrangements and other real estate brokerage companies or freelance brokers/agents providing condominium leasing and management services.
