Abstract (English)
Like Badang and Other Stories is a collection of four stories exposing lived-realities by Filipinos in diaspora, namely Third Culture Teens. These stories merge cultures from Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, and Thailand with Filipino culture to depict a blend that these teens often experienced ever since childhood. It merges different cityscapes with folklore and mythical creatures in the Urban Fantasy genre. Thematically, this thesis will focus on the theme of identity and finding it as a Filipino TCK.
