Abstract (English)
This study examines the nuanced experiences of corporate bank employees with Flexible Work Arrangements (FWAs) and their impact on organizational effectiveness. The study employs the Work-Life Border Theory and the Job Demands-Resources Model to understand further and analyze employees’ experiences with FWAs and broaden the distinctions in their organizational effectiveness. Data were collected through recorded in-depth interviews with corporate bank employees through convenience sampling. Using coding and thematic analysis, the study exposed benefits and challenges associated with FWAs. Findings illustrate that FWA offers employee productivity and work-life balance for some employees, but present difficulty in boundary-setting and work-life segmentation. Overall, the study highlights the importance of robust organizational support and clear boundary-setting practices in sustaining the positive impact of FWAs in the corporate banking sector.
