Abstract/Summary
This report deals mainly with the practicum program undergone by the trainee within Ericsson Telecommunications, Inc. It is intended to provide a detailed, concise and absolute account of the trainings and activities conducted by the trainee in designing the Ericsson implementation of the hardware evolution of Philippine second generation (2G) networks to third generation (3G) systems. Solutions and lessons incurred while doing the design are also included in the report.
The first chapter deals mainly with the company profile of Ericsson Telecommunications, Inc. It ends with the trainee’s objectives on the practicum program.
The second chapter contains information on the detailed trainings of the trainee and these are conducted by Ericsson Education Philippines. The principles, concepts and technologies learned by the trainee in the trainings are also presented.
Chapter three summarizes the practicum project assigned to the trainee. It tackles also the problem and solution of the practicum project.
Finally, chapter four presents the trainee’s assessments, conclusions and recommendations on the said practicum program.
