Abstract/Summary

Generally, this project paper attempts to solve the problem of scarcity of teaching materials for Grade Four speech lessons. Specifically, this is intended (1) to provide Grade Four teachers with exercises in English vowels and consonants that may be used in their pronunciation lessons; (2) to show how pronunciation lessons may be made more interesting by using verses, songs, dialogs and games; and (3) to give sample evaluative materials in speech so as to enable the teacher to evaluate the result of his teaching.
