Abstract/Summary

The syllabus for the course in Grade Four is based on the book, "The Christian Inheritance," Teacher's Guide and Student's Text. The time allotment is distributed in such a way as to make the students understand and assimilate more the essentials rather than encourage or concentrate on memory work. In the preparation of this syllabus, the writer had a very important consideration in mind: the needs of the pupils according to their interests, attitudes and background. Life in the community was also taken into consideration. In addition, stories are used as the basis of interpreting some events in the I story of salvation according to the child's own experience
