Abstract/Summary
The research work covers the whole extent of the ten commandments but specifically the fourth, sixth and the ninth commandments in so far as the moral conduct of the High School students is concerned. The scope upon which the paper has been geared to is from the Third and Fourth years, in as much as this is the critical stage in the life of a young boy and a young girl. Concentration is also given to student coming from sectarian as well a.s non-sectarian institutions, wherein the latter's character formation is the point of emphasis, while in the former religion is the center of the whole instruction for good manners and right conduct. The study is concentrated on the Old Testament and up to the present time. Much observation based upon the behavioural patterns of the present generation is made in order to make a discovery of the var ious causes of immortality among our younger members of society, and to counteract the mistaken notion of freedom. License and freedom are given a light and free interpretation, and that is the main factor of our great moral upheaval in the Philippines.
