Abstract/Summary

The Autism Society Philippines is a non-profit, national organization dedicated to the well-being of persons with autism spectrum disorder. The Autism Society of the Philippines is comprised of families, teachers, therapists, institutions and other individuals whose lives have been touched by autism and has been in the forefront of providing services to families affected with autism.

This campaign aims to educate, inform, and expand awareness and engagement to the community, education and information to local government units to provide service that will help a family with autism live a happy, balanced and normal life.

The paper aims to spread awareness and information thru different public relations practices like information drive, giving out flyers, mounting of posters and tarpaulins to local government units (LGUs), private stakeholders, partner schools that offers special education class and colleges/universities, both private and state universities, public service advertisement on campus radio stations, maximizing social media like Facebook, and most importantly, giving out seminars and activities for families with autism children or adults and those children and adults with autism spectrum disorder.

They are normal and special for everyone, they are just like us. They wanted to be noticed, they also excel in various fields, to support them, to care and love them. This research paper is for them, the campaign is also for them.
