Abstract/Summary

Life improvement of any individual human being is along with the improvement of the society and the environment. The purpose of this action research is to apply a performance appraisal to create a sustainable value for a small business company at Pars Silk Road Caravan. The main goal is to make the company a sustainable one based on its own initiatives. Sustainable Value Framework was used in this action research as the framework comprised of components related to sustainable businesses. The components are relevant to creating a sustainable value for a business, improving the sustainability knowledge of the managers and staff, making the whole operations in a sustainable way and improving the level of social responsibility activities engagement. This action research paper highlighted the current problems encountered in creating sustainable value in Pars Silk Road Caravan Company, implementation of intervention, its outcomes and my learning. This paper also discussed the results of action implemented using Scheins (1999) ORJI (Observation, Reaction, Judgment, and Intervention) method. The implementation of the action research resulted in creating sustainable value in Pars Silk Road Caravan. This also resulted in improvement of Pars Silk Road Caravan position in terms of sales.
