Abstract/Summary

This research focuses on the development of the faculty members, which is essential to the attainment of the goals of education. The focus of this paper is on the high school teachers of La Salette of Roxas. It aims to find out the needs of the teachers, know their weaknesses so that these can be strengthened, and determine the factors affecting their needs so that a faculty development program that would suit and meet these needs may be designed for them. In order to arrive at the Faculty Development Program, the researcher made a survey of the needs of the teachers of La Sallete of Roxas. This survey included a personal data, questionnaire and a Development Needs Checklist adapted from Sister Ataviados thesis and answered by subjects of this study, the 23 teachers. The researcher strengthened the results of the survey through interview with the teachers. Other information and data that have bearing with the study were gathered through readings.
