Abstract/Summary

The study was an attempt to assist the principals of the three high schools in Batangas through an analysis of their existing organizational chart based on the standard types of organization given by different authors and the existing organizations in the three schools surveyed. The subjects used in this study are the three principals of the three secondary schools in the province of Batangas, about their roles and functions during the school year 1976-1977. Descriptive method of gathering data was used in this study. The writer used the following tools : a questionnaire, an interview and letters of communication. The principals of the three schools were the direct respondents. The responses of the three principals were compared and analyzed, a model used as basis of comparison, and finally the writer worked out a proposed organization for one or any of the three schools.
