Abstract/Summary

The MCST schools after some years of existence feel the needs to evaluate, re-identify and strengthen their school philosophy and mission statement according to the mind of the church and to carry out the national educational goals more efficiently and effectively. The problems that confronted the school in the past year specifically on management have become their primary concern. These present a serious problem to the school which now and in the future will cater the need of a growing population. The expressed need of written policies for administrator and faculty members plus the frequent change of school administrator give rise to the making of this project paper. The researcher utilized personal interviews in obtaining information. The researcher interviewed the members of the BOT, administrators and coordinators concerning the position job descriptions, role and function of each. The writer also used the check list questionnaire adapted from the PAASCU manual for the formulation of the philosophy and objectives. It was administered to eight P.T.A. officers and twenty S.G.O. officers to check if the philosophy and objectives of the school was still relevant. The writer also used the compiled job description from other handbooks to check the job descriptions of the administrator and others and lastly, a general faculty meeting was held to finalize the draft. Based on this, an administrative-faculty handbook that will serve as the guide in the effective functioning and implementing goals and objectives of the school was proposed.
