Abstract/Summary

The study was undertaken to develop Administrative and Faculty Manuals for Jesus Cabarrus Catholic School. The descriptive-developmental method was used in this study. This design involved data gathering through checklist, interviews, and the use of school documents and unwritten policies. The process of developing these manuals applied the R & D Model of Borg with some modifications. Two sets of instruments were used in data gathering namely: Galang's Checklist of Functions and actual Duties of Administrators, Teachers, and Non-Teaching Personnel and Yabes' Interview Questionnaire on Policies governing Faculty and Support Staff. Since the manuals are intended for JCCS personnel, the respondents were limited to all its school personnel only. Findings. The survey reveals that a certain percentage of JCCS employees had not clearly understood the school's mission/vision, goals and objectives, as well as their specific roles, functions, and policies. It also shows that the school's written policies were inadequate. Conclusions. The development of these Administrative and Faculty Manuals will provide each personnel with clear-cut information regarding the school's academic and non-academic affairs as well as clear delineation of functions. Recommendations. Copies of these Administrative and Faculty Manuals should be given to all personnel concerned for complete dissemination of all its information. To keep all Jesenians informed of the school policies the Staff and Student Manuals should be developed. Aside from equipping each personnel with complete guide, it is also

necessary that all policies contained in these manuals be implemented and that these manuals be evaluated from time to time to check their applicability.
