Abstract/Summary
This is a creative thesis in poetry, composed of a poetry collection containing twenty-nine poems along with an essay on the author's poetics, divided into ten sections. Central to the poetic theme is the idea of absence. The collection explores absence in the form it commonly moves into--absences of the physical kind, either brought on by separation or by death.
