Abstract/Summary
This study develops a faculty handbook for the Asian Development Foundation College (ADFC).This study made use of the descriptive-developmental research design consisting of describing data gathered on the survey form. Checklist results and documentary analysis provided the researcher with data on the functions of faculty members and the existing rules, policies and procedures. Based on the findings, the study concluded that there is a need for a written faculty handbook that spells out the duties and functions of the faculty members as well as the policies and procedures that affect the faculty members. The following recommendations are forwarded: 1. The proposed faculty handbook should be presented first to all the faculty members for feedback and final revision. 2. The handbook should be revised at least every after two or three years. 3. Implementation shall take effect only after a faculty consensus for its adoption has been reached and an official adoption is granted by the administration of the school.
