Abstract/Summary
The project study entitled FACSIMILE - CELLULAR TELEPHONE INTERFACE deals with the hardware interfacing of the facsimile machine, with the cellular telephone making its facility as the transmitting medium, through a circuit that converts the output signal of the facsimile machine into the input signal of the cellular telephone. The hardware interface consist of four IC, three of which is a low power operational amplifiers and the other one is a multiplexer. The hardware interface allows the conversion of the facsimile machine signal into the cellular telephone signal by filtering method. This project study is governed by the existing standards based on CCITT Recommendations, specifically Recommendations V.29, T.40 and T.30 for a G3 facsimile machine, and Electronics Industry Association (EIA), American Mobile Telephone Standard (AMPS) for the cellular telephone.
