Abstract/Summary

Multi-level marketing is one of the important trends in the innovation of distribution in order to improve product availability to consumers (Go 2000). This study tackles the aspect of motivation in an organization of a multilevel marketing set-up particularly DXN. Since motivation is a vital concept in any organization (Riggio 2003), this study aims to describe the motivation of Filipino DXN distributors to become successful and to illustrate their motivation by means of a framework. The participants of the study are composed of twelve Filipino distributors who become successful in DXN. An interview guide was used to extract qualitative data in order to create categories that will explain the motivation of Filipino DXN distributors.
