Abstract/Summary

This Micoprocessor based Disco Lighting System would make use of preset programs as main controller of the lighting system through the use of a Personal Computer (PC). The system consists of an Interface Card, Power Driver and Motor Driver Circuits, Sound Feedback Circuit, the load or the lights itself and complemented by a software.Basically, instead of manual controls, a preset program will be fed by the computer through the interface card into the power driver and motor drivers activating the lights and motors as instructed by the software. The power driver circuits is consists of the Light Dimmer and Relays, while the motor driver circuit would include the motor speed controller. Sound Feedback circuits would include the Low Pass Filter, Comparator and the Counter.Realization of this Microprocessor based Lighting System would lessen the number of human light operators and proper monitoring of lights is maximize as patterns and sequencing are all based on the software.
