Abstract/Summary

The feature film is about a maturation of an 8-year-old boy through the discovery of Santa Claus' identity, how he copes with the situation and how he is able to deal with such a revelation. It shows the boy's point of view after finding out that what he considered something important and close to him was something that wasn't true after all.

The proponents aim to show that every person has a different way of maturing, in different ages, with different circumstances and experiences. For the proponents, maturation does not only happen once, but may happen multiple times in the life of a person, as it happens differently every single time. In this particular feature, the boy matures once he finds out the truth about Santa Claus, and that although he may initially have felt betrayed or sad, he later on matures as he understands realities, his parents and his family.

Additionally, the purpose of the feature is to show the value as well as the challenges of a parent-child relationship. Parenting is not an easy task, and the film also shows the importance of communication and openness to foster a healthy relationship.
