Abstract/Summary
The company has a lot of difficulties in meeting the customers demand for their products. And we found out that if the present manual filling process is change to an automated filling process, it can help significantly in increasing the productivity rate and further improving the quality of the company's products.Plant/company visits were conducted by the group. After gathering all technical information/data from various sources, the group went on to design and fabricate the prototype of the automatic liquid filling machine by following the morphology of the design process.Finally, we were able to come up with a flexible and efficient prototype of an automatic liquid filling machine that would be helpful in improving the process.It goes to show that only large manufacturing firms could have the opportunities to automate their production processes, small manufacturing firms can do it too.
