Abstract/Summary

Crossing is a short feature film with a running time of 35 minutes. The project is shot in HDV format 1080i with 24A frames per second frame rate. It is best vied on projector with full-color to best appreciate film quality.

It tells a story about a wealthy born and greedy 10-year old girl named Sonja, who realizes her own selfishness and greediness and learns about the joys of sharing. Sonja begins her journey to maturity as she enters a dream world where those who roam the day disappear at night and is replaced by their darker counterparts. There, she finds Papi, her once-imaginary friend who helps Sonja get back to her home and escape the clutches of Hilda, the most feared night-dweller in the land.
