Abstract/Summary

This thesis involves a web-based interactive Computer Aided Instruction for IC Fabrication, Assembly and Testing. The group created an online learning environment that will help the users to understand more the concepts and processes behind the manufacturing of Integrated Circuits. Integrating different media such as graphics, animations, and sound, made the thesis more interactive and easy to navigate with. Additional features of this Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) are the quizzes for the assessment of the users' comprehension, the discussion forums for the users' interaction with one another, and the actual videos and simulations for the visual process illustrations. This paper contains the documentation of the CAI, from the conceptualization of the system to the acquisition of data for evaluation.
