Abstract/Summary
The study deals with the design and construction of the 16-Channel PC-Based Logic Analyzer . It would be just a cross between a logic analyzer and a digital oscilloscope. The prototype is capable of accommodating and displaying simultaneously 16 different signals on a VGA monitor using a PC-AT computer. It is a low cost implementation making use of locally available components but still provides the basic functions of logic analyzers. The different modules was tested individually. After which, the different modules was connected into one system and tested as a whole.
