Abstract/Summary
The study was introduced and supported by the Philippine Council for Advanced Science and Technology Research and Development under the Department of Science and Technology. The objective of the study was to develop an Intelligent Computer-Aided Instruction in Chemistry which will cater to public high school students in the Philippines. The ICAI in Chemistry system is capable of teaching the students concepts in Chemistry. Graphical displays are used to enhance the presentation of the lessons. It also provides exercises, exams, evaluations and maintenance of student database. Moreover, the system allows teachers to add lessons, exercises and exams into the database through the lesson, exercise, and exam editors.
