Abstract/Summary
The research is about the decision making of coming out of homosexuals. The socio-cognitive perspective was used in the research. An FGD and one on one in depth interview were used as the method to gather data. The first FGD was conducted in gathering questions to be used in the one on one in depth interview. On the other hand, one on one in depth interview was used to gather data for the research. While the last FGD was utilized in analyzing and validating the data gathered from the one on one in depth interview. Therefore, qualitative analysis was employed in analyzing the data. The subject for the one on one in depth interview was composed of 10 Filipino male homosexuals and 10 Filipino female homosexuals. All of which resides in Metro Manila and belonging to the working force. Based from the data analysis, the researcher found out that the antecedent could possibly lead to coming out. There are several factors that explain such events.
