Abstract/Summary
Life is something we all have. It is something we treasure most. But contrary to the good things in life, death is the worst thing that could happen to us and it is something inevitable. But we cannot deny the fact that we suffer most when someone we love dies unexpectedly.
When Daddy Smiles is a story of death and relationships. When Joanna's mother died, her father, Jimmy, had a hard time coping with his wife's death. He begins to neglect his duties as a father to Joanna. But Joanna begins to find ways of reaching out to her father with the help of her grandfather, Carlos. Will her efforts be in vain? Will they have a happy ending?
