Abstract/Summary
In the field of engineering, transient heat conduction is widely dealt and encountered. It poses an indispensable use in various laboratory experiments and industrial processes as well. The nature of unsteady-state process is so complicated that it entails systematic analysis or thorough comprehension. This thesis aims to interface the experimental objects with the computer for simultaneous acquisition of the temperature-time data at different points in the solid. The gathered data are vividly presented as temperature-time profile in graphical form. Further studies of heat transfer are extended as for the determination of the thermal conductivity of the material.
